Research
Within the ERCIS network we work on a lot of different research topics, in Münster but also internationally. Amongst other things, those topics cover:

Our research is led by the idea of integrating application systems and organisational structure. Organisations face challenges, which are highly connected to this research topic, i.e. designing ERP systems in companies, the process organisation supported by modern IT systems or creating new application system architectures.
Another main research topic in the ERCIS network is the integration of different technical systems with the help of holistic and integrated architectures, i.e. the integration of data warehouse solutions, content management, workflow managent or document management systems in one ERP architecture. In doing so, we have to consider conceptual as well as technical aspects.
Detailed information about our fields of research can be found on the pages of the headquarter, the associated research institutes as well as our research partners.
